Dupli clinch prestigious Campaign of the Year Award

Dupli have been awarded the prestigious Campaign of the Year crown in the BPI Awards for 2023

British Photographic Industry News, or BPI as it is affectionately known in the industry, has been the leading voice for the Photographic Industry for over 35 years and their awards are widely respected amongst businesses and consumers alike.

Announcing the award winners this year, Editor Gavin Stoker commented;
"With stock shortages and stretched supply lines largely alleviated in 2023, it would perhaps have been business as usual this year without the cost of living crisis, high inflation and falling living standards continuing to challenge all of us. That said, there continued to be great and ambitious products announced that reflected the shifting landscape and evolving consumer and professional demands. At the same time retailers, distributors, suppliers, and manufacturers alike did their utmost to maintain excellent levels of service and support. So, for our annual BPI News Trade Awards we asked you to nominate and vote for those that stood out, proffering some suggestions of our own to provide ideas and steer if needed. As the photo industry’s journal of record, it’s important we reflect the real feeling in the trade".

Dupli were crowned winners for their Tetenal UK becomes Dupli campaign which was the culmination of months of hard work in creating a new brand, assets and vision for the business.

Dupli Chief Marketing Office Louise Wilce was excited to win the award for something that was a true labour of love;

“We are really thrilled to have won this award and the team who worked on the rebrand are excited to hear the news. In terms of the campaign, we did a two-stage launch. Initially we went out with Dupli being the new name for Tetenal, which was very much an education piece. After that initial period, we launched into ‘partners in print’ with lots of video content and direct mail to our customers. We were really careful to take customers on the journey with us, as well as our team here. That’s really important to us.”

Since the launch of Dupli earlier this year, the brand has gone from strength to strength and the bright pink and dark grey livery is now recognised throughout the photographic industry. A brand image which now reflects the ethos of  Dupli as a bright, progressive and modern business.
